Since the advent of the Moto E smartphone in India, the native market has become some sort of a n arena for low-end Android Kitkat phones. The Moto E smartphone, if you don't know comes at the price of Rs. 7,000 and features latest Android KitKat OS. The handset became an instant hit in the Indian market. This forced the other domestic smartpohone vendors to come up with their budget friendly devices with similar and latest OS.
Now, trying to beat Moto E, Lava's premium arm Xolo has launched it's latest Xolo Q600s smartphone that runs on one of the same version of operating system i.e. Android Kitkat 4.4.2 at the competitive price of Rs. 8,499. The handset which is offered in black and white color variants is being exclusively sold from Snapdeal at a special price of Rs. 7499 only. This price is an introductory price on Snapdeal, which will be increased soon.
However, it's not only Xolo who has its Android KitKat device launched in the market. A couple of weeks ago even Micromax launched its Canvas Engage and Unite 2 which comes with the same OS version. Also Lava Iris X1 was launched soon with the same purpose to bring the sales of the Moto E down in the native market.
In the mean time, lets take a look at the specs of the latest entrant from Xolo. The Xolo Q600s smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch (960×540 pixels) qHD IPS display with OGS (one glass solution) & Full Lamination for super smooth touch responsiveness.
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and VideoCore IV GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
Xolo Q600s features a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter as well.
The smartphone comes with a 4GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.
