Xolo To Roll Out Android 4.4 KitKat Update For Select Q Series Smartphones By June 2014

It's the era of Android KitKat OS and thus Lava's premium smartphone brand Xolo has announced to release the same version of update to a number of devices by June 2014. The company which recently released Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update to its Q1000 Opus will now be upgrading its other devices which include Q700S, Q1010i, Q1010 and Q3000 by pushing and OTA update.

Moreover, it will also launch a new Android KitKat powered by handset soon in the Indian Market. The changes that the smartphones will be seeing after the update are not much but the regular Android KitKat features.

If you are not aware, the devices will becomes smoother while multitasking as the update brings a better memory management feature.

Google's Hangout will be updated with SMS and MMS integration and new immersive mode that hides everything except the application used will be enabled.

Other details are smart calling tool that identifies unknown numbers by using Google Maps data and prioritizes contacts based on the people mostly spoken with, redesigned email app with nested folders, contact photos and better navigation and integration with Google Drive.

The updates will be released either over-the-air or via a direct download from the Xolo website.
