Xolo has had a lot of success with its Android-powered phones in the mid-range category. Last month the company entered Windows Phone market with its Win Q900. Now, the same handset is up for grabs via Flipkart and other online e-retailers. The Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone is now available online, with a price tag of Rs. 9,800.
Touted as the lightest Windows Phone till date, Xolo Win Q900s sports a 4.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor and 400 MHz Adreno 302 GPU coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
Furthermore, the Xolo Win Q900s comes with better camera, an 8MP imaging module with PureCel sensor and LED Flash, and a 2MP front-facing shooter as well. The handset also offers a respectable 8GB of internal memory, which is expandable via microSD card.
Connectivity options include: 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and obviously dual-SIM connectivity. The device measures 135.8 x 67.2 x 7.2 mm and weighs-in at 100g. The makers have added an 1800mAh battery fitted inside.
Nokia Lumia 530
Just a day back, Microsoft devices announced their much awaited Lumia 530. The phone which is yet to hit Indian market could be a huge hit with its affordable pricing. The new Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone features a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a microSD up to 128GB, a five-megapixel sensor and a 1430 mAh battery fitted inside. The 530 notably comes in both single SIM 3G and dual SIM 3G versions. The device will go on sale in August. No word on India release yet.
