Zen X381 Launch
Zen Mobile's popularity is on the rise and it has the distinction of launching India's first 3D phone with pre-loaded content, the S30. But it has a strong presence in the lower end of the segment too where cost-effectiveness combined with desirable features makes all the difference.
Zen Mobiles has played the affordability card again and launched the Zen X381 Maze, a dual SIM GSM music mobile phone that is truly affordable and provides a good entertainment experience thanks to the presence of an MP3 multi-format audio player where you can customize your play list, MP4 video player, a 3.5mm audio jack and wireless FM radio. The X Series of mobile handsets from Zen are known for their practicality thanks to the lightweight design, aesthetic attractiveness, presence of many user-friendly and high-tech features and above all, competitive price in India.
Zen X381 is reasonably good looking. It isn't exactly a bar form factor thanks to the curved edges but is slim, and the colour scheme - black in the front and back and red in the sides with a bit of red extending to the lower back - is certainly eye catching. The back of the handset, though black, has a cool looking design that consists of mazes and lines which isn't cheap or glittery but exudes class and which probably gave the handset its "Maze" model name.
The convenience of a dual SIM phone is unbeatable. Zen X381 also features a 1.5" TFT high clarity display screen that supports 65K colours and loudspeaker for a thoroughly involving music experience. Along with the internal memory it provides the possibility of up to 2GB of expandable memory with microSD.
Zen X381 Maze dual SIM provides GPRS, WAP and Bluetooth connectivity options too. USB connectivity is also provided, of course. The 850 mAH Li-ion battery provides up to 3 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. The clarity of the TFT screen is expectedly great and offers a user-friendly interface, making watching the screen and surfing the menu a delightful experience. This is accentuated by the simple and easy-to-use keypad too.
The enhanced 1.3-megapixel digital camera can help you capture brilliant images and save your favourite moments. Zen X381 also comes with a torch light for emergencies. With all these features, X381 Maze has a price in India of only Rs. 1,200.
