Recently, ZTE Corporation, a Chinese tech giant has unveiled the Blade 3 smartphone, the third handset under the popular Blade lineup of smartphones.
The handset comes with an expanded storage, enlarged 4 inch display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and many other impressive features and specifications.
Commenting at the launch of the handset, Mr. Ao Wen, Vice President of Europe Operations for ZTE Handsets was quoted saying, "With Blade III we have paid extra attention to our users. We have focused on a larger screen and expanded the storage space significantly. ZTE Blade III is the first ever smartphone in its price range with a 4-inch touch screen and Android 4.0. This enables more users to take part in an extremely sharp multimedia experience, without costing an arm and a leg."

Dimensions & Weight: Blade 3 carries a dimension of 123 mm x 63.5 mm x 10mm and weighs in at 130 grams.
Display: The handset houses a 4 inch WVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Processor: When it comes to the processor, Blade 3 has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor.
Operating System: Blade 3 is flavored with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
Storage: The handset has 4GB internal memory, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB.
Camera: When it comes to the camera optics, Blade 3 sports a 5MP rear camera, however, it lacks a front facing camera for video calling.
Connectivity: On the connectivity front, the Blade 3 has Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, GPS and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
Battery: Blade 3 is powered by a 1,600 mAh Li-ion battery.
Price & Availability
As claimed by ZTE, initially, Blade 3 will be released in Black color variant in Sweden in October and White color variant will reach Finland in September. As far as the price is concerned, in Sweden, the handset will be made available at 1499 SEK (approx. Rs 12,000). Moreover, the handset will reach the other main markets in Europe and across the world including India by the end of this year.
