ZTE Grand SII: 5.5 FHD Quad Core Smartphone With Voice Recognition Unlocking Announced at CES 2014
ZTE, the world's top ranked handset manufacturer, has come with a flagship device in its acclaimed Grand series.
The Grand SII finally goes official at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), currently happening in Las Vegas. The hardware boasts of a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and a 5.5-inch Full HD display.

Well, the biggest USP of Grand SII has to be its built-in voice recognition unlocking for hands free operation. The Grand S II will be the first ZTE smartphone featuring such novel feature.

"The voice recognition unlocking feature enables the Grand S II to recognize its owners' voices and differentiate between them and for its owners to unlock the phone with a simple voice command".
We've have seen a similar voice recognition unlocking feature used in the Motorola Moto G. Other highlighted innovations include the coming of voice photography and an updated driving assistant.
"We pulled out all of the stops with the Grand S II; we built upon the success of the original Grand S, and added the latest high-performance hardware and features, including voice control," said Mr. Zeng Xuezhong, EVP and Head of the Mobile Devices Division, ZTE.
The Grand SII incorporates a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD capacitive touch display. Under the hood comes a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The makers have added a 3,000mAh battery fitted inside. Also add a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The device also features a professional BOX speaker to, backed by Dolby sound effects.
