ZTE Grand S: Latest Image Leak Suggests 5 inch 1080p HD Display Smartphone/tablet Hybrid to Launch
Grand S, supposed to be ZTE's grandest and latest phone has made its appearance in a press shot prior to its scheduled launch at a press event during CES, 2013.
It had been confirmed that the Chinese OEM will release Grand S during CES 2013 as it is part of the schedule page of CES Press Events which is to take place at Convention Center at Las Vegas.
ZTE has not revealed much about the smartphone until now. However, it is known that the phone will be equipped with a 5 inch full high definition (1080p) display. XTE Grand S will also feature traditional Chinese styling and ceramic body. Grand S will be the thinnest FHD phone in the world.
In order to get the word about the phone's expected launch, ZTE had been teasing netizens over at their Sina Weibo account. The company has posted actual sketches of Grand S over at the site.
A promotional flyer is also doing the round which has the phone's name written on a boat's side on the flyer. Even though the writing is in Chinese, CES 2013 is unmistakably understood by all.
Apart from a name and the photo, little else is known about the Grand S. The only available information is about the screen resolution and size. It looks as though, a wait is required till January 8th at Las Vegas to get to know more details about Grand S.
The phone, thinner than HTC Butterfly/Droid DNA, is rumored to run on a quad processor. The phone is also expected to support some version of Android Jelly Bean. However, no concrete information is available on these accounts at this point of time.
ZTE Grand S will form part of the 5- inch smartphone market which is expected to thrive during 2013.
