ZTE Star 2: Flagship Device with 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 801 Spotted at TENAA

Looks like Chinese smartphone maker ZTE is all geared up to launch a new device soon. The company which launched the ZTE Grand S2 few days ago is said to be working on its new flagship model named as ZTE Star 2. According to the source, ZTE Star 2 has been spotted at the Chinese Certification Agency TENAA.

According to the certification agency report, this premium product from ZTE will sport a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. ZTE Star 2 will be clocked with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 alongside 3GB of RAM. Although, there is no information about the expansion slot, it is said to have 16GB of built-in memory and may run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with a ZTE launcher.

ZTE Star 2 Spotted at TENAA

As the rumors turned out to be true, the Star 2 device will be equipped with a 13MP rear camera, Sony sensor, dual tone LED and a 5MP front snapper for selfies and video conference.

Moving on, the hardware will be packed in the aluminum cased body with a dimension of 9.8mm thickness. As the availability of ZTE Star 2 is still unknown, it is expected to have a price tag of 1,999 Chinese yuan (Rs, 20,243 approx), which is of course a great deal for devices with 4G connectivity.
