ZTE has very recently announced their latest smart phone termed as ZTE Orbit. The most notable thing about this phone is that it runs on Windows Tango Operating system. Very few of the specs of the phone are known as for now and as far as the spec list goes, the phone looks promising.
Features and specifications of ZTE Orbit:
Windows phone Tango operating system
5 Mega pixel camera
4 GB internal memory
The rear side of the phone houses the inbuilt camera and flash. The camera is kept at the top right corner. A dot type pattern is provided at the back. This not only helps to increase the visual appeal of the phone but also helps to provide better grip and avoid finger prints. The actual dimensions or the weight of the phone is not known but is looks very compact and light weight.
The phone is provided with a 5 mega pixel camera. The camera has an LED flash too so that good quality photos can be taken in low light as well as no light conditions. It has auto focus features too so images can be captured without any hassles. There is 4GB of internal memory. There is no word on expandable memory.
The lack of a GPS module in the device is noticeable. Usually all the phones in this segment has one. The browser in it is of HTML type. The phone is also provided with connectivity options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The presence of Windows operating system makes this a feature rich device. The user interface is very much easy to use. The phone also has many applications to satisfy the entertainment and business needs of its users.
This is the second device from ZTE to run on Windows operating system, ZTE Tania being the first. The release locations and the dates of ZTE Orbit are not known as for now and so is the price tag. The phone can be expected to price competitively so that it can take on other similarly specked phones in the same segment.
