The headphones look super cool and have a very beautiful design. The ear cups are oval in shape and they are large enough to cover the entire ear. The overall design accentuates the smooth flow of the curves and rounded edges. The headphones are manufactured with the same material that is used to make high end eye wear. The padding in the earphones and the headbands is more than sufficient. This ensures a very snug fit. The soft padding is also very comfortable and is very apt for enjoying to hours of continuous music.

There is an inline microphone as well controls in it that can be used along with an iPhone. All the other music manipulation buttons are placed over the earphone cups. While wearing it, since these controls won’t be visible it would take some time to get used to the whole set up. But the buttons are placed where it is very accessible and the user won’t have any troubles in using those controls.

The noise cancellation feature requires the presence of a battery. The headphones will provide about 45 hours of music with noise cancellation on. Once the battery runs out of juice the headphones will still work but of course without noise cancellation. This is a very welcome feature since there are many headsets out there in the market that completely shuts down once the noise cancellation battery gets exhausted. This will become very much a problem while you are in a long journey or flight and a spare battery is inaccessible.

The three button mic is compatible with almost all of the Apples devices including ipod nano, iphone 4S, ipod touch etc.

Klipsch Mode M40 headphone comes with a price tag of more than Rs. 15,000/- in India. This is a bit expensive for a headphone but if you want premium quality sound then look no further than this.
