Nokia Music Introduces Free Subscription Vouchers for Idea Cellular Pre-paid and Post-paid Customers

Nokia is getting aggressive with its music service taking one or two leaves from Apple and iTunes story. This can be said as along with Vodafone, Nokia has recently also teamed up with Idea Cellular to offer an integrated billing solution for its music service, Nokia Music Store, in India.

Idea subscribers using Finnish cellphone maker's music service on their Nokia handsets will be able to renew subscriptions through their respective accounts to continue downloading songs and albums from the Nokia Music Store.

Renewal subscriptions for the Nokia Music Store are available for three durations viz., 7 days for Rs 50; 30 days for Rs. 99; and 90 days for Rs. 250. Taxes and data charges are separate as applicable. With this integration, Idea Cellular consumers can pay for the renewal as part of their monthly phone bills or have the amount debited from their prepaid balance.

Further, users can also log in to www.oxicash.in or get in touch with one of the nearest stores for availing the desired voucher.

Nokia Music Store India has around 45 lakh songs spanning across 26 music genres. One of the unique attractions of this service is that all the songs stored in the service are DRM free. It means users can feel free to share, transfer or set any of the songs as a ringtone absolutely free. The service also offers exclusive access to high quality regional Indian music tracks and even international tracks for a limited number of minutes.

These Nokia Music subscription vouchers are provided by carrier networks including Idea Cellular and Vodafone pre-paid and post-paid connections. Free service will be provided to users for 3 months, 6 months and 12 months for its Nokia range of devices depending up on the type of device being used.

Nokia 500 would be getting free subscription for 6 months where as the Asha range of devices will get free subscription for three months. The official site of Nokia indicates services can vary depending on whether users are on 2G or 3G and the network conditions.
