New Senheiser HD 800
The HD series of head phones from the manufacturers have been a very successful venture with the devices having a high demand everywhere. Senheiser HD 800 is now a very popular one. Its previous version, the HD 650 was also a most desirable one and it was comparatively less expensive. But there is no doubt that the HD 800 leads from all the other versions released. One major drawback of HD 650 was its ear cup design, which was reported to be able enough to crush one's ear cartilages. Senheiser HD 800 doesn't have this problem and the ear pieces have never been made better in any other edition of the series.
Senheiser HD 800 headphone is all about comfort. One wouldn't care changing the brand after using the head sets for even hours. It is well designed and suits for all. The material used for the ear piece is a micro fiber which is immensely soft and the velvet used is very cozy.
Sennheiser's hasn't compromised on the size of the headphone and thus have made it really big. In fact, they claim it's the biggest transistor that has been used in any headphones that has released yet, but the size is really an advantage. Another feature is its driver assembly, which is mounted on special plastic body. The drivers are perfectly replaceable and are well tuned. The manufacturers had put special attention in deciding the material for manufacturing Y cables. The material selected is a special cloth that is oxygen free. In addition it has been plated silver. It is even replaceable and uses a proprietary connector.
The Senheiser HD 800 headsets find its application mostly in studio monitors for they are highly accurate in delivering the desired precision performance. So, instead of a 3.5 mm cable, it's a 6.3 mm cable that's desired. Unfortunately, it doesn't feature a 6.3 mm cable. But the manufacturers boast that the device is suitable enough for all studio purposes.
Senheiser HD 800 has a price in India around Rs 80,000 in the markets.
