Sound Walk has inbuilt speakers in its shoulder pads that enable iPod users to carry around their own loudspeakers when they are out doors. The MP3 player plugs into a front pocket wired to speakers are built into the shoulder pads to ensure the person wearing the jacket gets the best sound. It also negotiates the risk of earplugs, which obscure outside sounds if being used at high volume.
The best advantage of the 'Sound Walker' is that its music wont disturbs even the nearest person to the user. The speakers are placed, below the ear, on the shoulder.
The technology was developed in Korea and will soon hit UK and Europe. 'Sound Walk" runs on two AAA batteries. The equipment resembles a piece of military kit and apt for military or cyber looks.
The concept is materialised after three years of research. The idea was originated after the concern regarding the problem caused by the earplugs. This equipment may very soon turn into a fashion icon and the best friend of joggers and motorcycle riders.
