iPhone 5
The highly anticipated sixth generation iPhone – the iPhone 5 was unwrapped by the manufacturer. It lacks a few features which were highly expected by the tech world including the NFC, Retina Display and wireless charging.
However, the new iPhone is still a major upgrade from iPhone 4S. Coming to the specs, the iPhone 5 packs a 4 inch display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels allowing a fifth row of icons on the homescreen. The smartphone is equipped with a new Apple A6 chipset, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal memory, 8MP rear camera with iSight technology and 1.2MP front camera for video calling.
Further, the iPhone 5 will come loaded with over 200 new features as it runs on the iOS 6 – the latest version of the mobile OS.
iPhone 5 has connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, 4G LTE, 3G and micro USB 2.0 support. The battery is claimed by Apple to offer a talk time of 8 hours and standby of 225 hours.
