Steve Jobs Movie starring Ashton Kutcher to release in early 2013
Reign in the New Year season this January with a biopic on Steve Jobs titled "JOBS". The film is scheduled to be screened on the closing day of the Sundance film festival on January 27th 2013. The film has been grabbing enough attention since it was announced last April. Ashton Kutcher plays the role of the late Apple Co-founder, Steve Jobs . The film is based on some of the significant milestones that took place in the most important years of his life from 1971.
What's Special about the film?
This will be the first film on Steve Job's life and death. It is a true story of one of the biggest entrepreneurs' in history. It is portrayed in a very candid and inspirational manner.I It tells the story of a man who thought of things in a different way. The film shows Ashton Kutcher as a co-founder of the company. An Apple II computer sits in the background with a poster reading "Think Presumably".
It is one of the high-profile releases announced last week. The film "JOBS" is written by Matt Whiteley and its director Joshua Michael Stern. Star cast in the film other than Ashton Kutcher includes Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, and J.K. Simmons.
The film will serve as the closing film of next year's Sundance festival. Trevor Groth, Sundance's Director of Programming, picked "JOBS" saying he felt there is something inspirational about it.
Previously there have been films capturing the rivalry between the two founder giants, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates but those were more focused on the growth of the personal computer. However, Apple fans and experts believe that the new upcoming movie could be the biggest tribute to the visionary late Steve Jobs if the movie succeeds in capturing the true images of his life.
