The newest version of Blackberry App world 220.127.116.11 has been released recently. The update has a small size of 2.9 MB and will be released OTA (over the air) in several stages, which indicates that different BlackBerry users will get it in different times. Research In Motion (RIM) has not released many details about the latest update.
Due to the over the air pushing of the application in stages, the Blackberry users are advised to wait until it is send to their phones.
The Canadian company, RIM, has not issued a change log along with the latest App World update. But it is highly advisable to switch to the new version as soon as possible, as it is sure to be an improvement on the previous version.
RIM had released the previous version of Blackberry App World 18.104.22.168 in October. Initially, users had to download it manually. It could be installed only when the beta version already installed in the phones was removed. However, this was later rectified when it no longer required the removal of beta versions to install the new update. The update was compatible completely with devices having Blackberry OS 4.2 and above.
Version 22.214.171.124 had several new features. It allowed users to delete application permanently from My World along with facilitating them in re-installing any application from My World. In addition it also made it easier for the Blackberry users to search and locate applications with ease in My World with the Automatic Find feature.
