Bose, acclaimed manufacturer of audio/video equipments is expanding its entertainment product line up with a new all-in-one entertainment system. The new system dubbed as VideoWave 2 bundles the experience of a HD TV, home theater and music system. VideoWave 2 will be available in two models. The first model featuring a screen size of 55-inch will be available for retail purchase at an approximate price tag of Rs 4,99,300. 

The second model featuring a screen size of 46-inch will be up for sale at a price tag of Rs 4,19,500. Both the models will be up for sale at select Bose stores from mid September onwards. 

Six high performance woofers are integrated into the home theater system for delivering an enriched sound experience. These woofers work in perfect harmony along with a powerful acoustic guide from Bose to deliver precise effects of deep low notes and a much clearer audio at peak listening levels. The home theater system also incorporates Bose Phase Guide sound radiator technology which works hand in hand with the speaker array and Bose’s advanced digital signal processing to deliver an unbeatable surround sound experience. Another important technology from Bose, ADAPTIQ automatically adjusts the sound in accordance with the room’s interior. 

Another notable feature of VideoWave II is that it arrives with an iPod/iPhone dock. Using a clickpad remote, users can control various functions like browsing through artists, choosing songs, modifying playlists etc. Users will also be able to turn the screen off whenever they want using a video mute feature. VideoWave II HD TV capabilities are also worth mentioning. The 1080p LED backlit display gives out crystal clear images and also comes with an aluminium finish bezel. 

The display can be wall mounted and can be hooked up to a console which allows the whole system to be connected to up to 6 devices including a set top box, Blu-ray disc player and Apple TV. Functionalities of the HDTV can also be controlled using the click pad remote.
