Diwali and Pooja festivals are approaching fast and it seems mobile operators just like FMCG companies have already started offerings special plans and schemes to drive in subscribers. BSNL is coming up with a special scheme for prepaid CDMA users in the states of Kerala and Karnataka. The scheme will be named ‘Joy CDMA Plan’ and ‘Harsha CDMA Plan’ in both states respectively.
Joy CDMA Plan in Kerala Circle for Rs 85
As per this CDMA prepaid scheme, subscribers can make calls within BSNL network at 1ps per 2 seconds and all the other calls will be charged at a flat rate of 1 rupee/second. Local calls in BSNL network made during night from 8 to 10 pm will be charged at 10 ps/ minute.
Along with this reduction in call rates, subscriber to this plan will also get 250 local calls, 100 local/national SMS and 50 MB of data usage for the first month. The call rates will remain in effect for 180 days and those who want to extend it can be given a provision to do so by subscribing to Rs 34 Plan voucher. They can extend it to another 180 days once they subscribe to this Rs 34 pack.
Harsha CDMA plan in Karnataka for Rs 86
Subscribers of this attractive pack will get all benefits in call rates as applicable in the Joy CDMA plan mentioned above. The only notable difference is the availability of 500 SMS as freebies for first 30 days as against the 100 SMS being offered under the scheme in Kerala.
Otherwise all other benefits and rates look the same in both the CDMA promotional packs. The other difference is in the recharging voucher denomination. Those who want to recharge this package have to go for Rs 86 worth voucher.
It is happy time for CDMA users in Kerala and Karnataka as the rates look impressive and the introduction of happy hours from 8 to 10 pm where only 10 ps will be charged per minute.
