The dual SIM Android phones like Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Ace Duos were quite successful. With this success, Samsung is planning to launch the dual SIM version of the Galaxy S smartphone. This will be the most expensive dual SIM phone of Samsung.
The sources inside Samsung claim that the brand is planning to launch the Galaxy S Duos by the end of August 2012. The handset will support two GSM SIM cards.
Coming to the design and features, the Galaxy S Duos will be of 10.5 mm thick. It will measure 120 grams. The Android phone will sport a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It will be powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor with Adreno 200 graphics processor.
Galaxy S Duos will have a 4 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 32 GB using a micro SD card slot. The handset will have a 5 MP auto focus rear camera.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone will have features like Wi-Fi, 3G (only on primary SIM), Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi hotspot. Galaxy S Duos phone will be based on the Android 4.0 ICS operating system. The price in India of Samsung Galaxy S Duos will be around Rs 21,000.
