Exclusive: LG to Unveil Another Smartphone in India this November
Now, Gizbot has got another exclusive news for LG fans out there. According to an inside source, LG is confirmed to launch another smartphone in the country by November end. When asked, it would be Optimus G launched in the Korean market recently, or the next Nexus smartphone, the source did not disclose information on the same, however revealed, that “the upcoming smartphone is going to be the hottest launch of the year so far.”
At the same time, IBNLive did carry a report today which mentioned that at the launch event of Optimus Vu, Amit Gujral, head, Mobile Product Planning, LG claimed that, "Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November."
The report continues stating that Gujral disclosed some specs of the handset including a 4.7 inch screen, Android 4.2 OS and 1.5 GHz quad-core processor."
On the other hand, BGR India also have got some information citing an LG official that the company will launch the LG Nexus 4 smartphone in India in a few weeks after the smartphone will be officially announced at the Android event on October 29.
Moreover, the report goes on stating that, the official also revealed that Optimus G will not reach the market until early 2013. However, with a minor changes, the Nexus smartphone will hit the retail shelves in India in the next few weeks.
Whatever be the case, if LG launches the Nexus 4 smartphone, it will come with the rumored specs including a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 4.7 inch 1280 x 768 True-High Definition IPS display, 8MP camera, 8GB to 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, in-built wireless charging and a non-removable 2,100 mAh Li-ion battery. Further, the handset is claimed to lack a micro SD slot.
Meanwhile, if the Korean handset vendor is planning to unveil its flagship smartphone - Optimus G, then the handset will have Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad core processor, 4.7 inch IPS display with 1280 x 768 pixel resolution, 13 MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 32GB internal memory, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth4.0, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Android 4.0.4 ICS OS and a 2,100 mAh Li-Po battery.
