Flipkart Acquires Mobile Advertising Agency AdlQuity for Unknown Amount

E-commerce website Flipkart has acquired an advertisement network firm AdlQuity, which might help them in the advertising department. This ad agency, which was headquatered in Banglore, started with a collaboration of the regional search engine named Guruji.com back in 2006.

Moreover, AdIQuity helps ad agencies, ad networks, demand-side platforms (DSP), and other media buyers to acquire global quality mobile traffic and cash in on new revenue opportunities opening up. It's platform is used by over 15,000 app developers and publishers and reaches across over 200 countries, as per the company records. The platform has 25 billion ad impressions and 150 million active users on a monthly basis.

As per the report, AdlQuity will help in the websites external marketing, where as brands can use Flipkart data on user behavior to target customers on the AdIQuity platform. Also, AdIquity platform will let their merchants to promote their products on Flipkart on their part.

Morover after the acquistion of Myntra for $300 million in May last year, the online store Flipkart made its first acquisition in this year. As the report suggests, e-commerce firm is eyeing a funding worth $1.7 billion in coming months.
