Google, at annual I/O 2015 event in San Francisco has announced an important update for its Play service. This Play service 7.5 version gets smart lock passwords, app invites, instant identity and etc.

According to the company, Smart Lock for Passwords is basically a password manager comes with your Google account and it can sign you into websites on Chrome and in applications on Android automatically.

Search engine giant, Google also noted that websites like Eventbrite, Orbitz, Netflix, Instacart, the New York Times are already using Smart Lock for Passwords, where Linkedin and other website will soon join the league.

Moving on, when you use Smart Lock compatible app or website for first time, it will ask you to save your credentials and after that, it will use these credentials to sign you in every time you are using that particular service in Chrome or its official application on Android.

Moreover, the company is planning to add new features including support for sync passphrases and Smart Lock for Passwords API support on other platforms later this year.
