Lenovo Names Bollywood Star Ranbir Kapoor as its New Brand Ambassador for Smartphones

Lenovo is going the distance with its latest range of smart devices that it has already made available for its fans in India. Now to add a bit of glamor to the already existing name of its, the Chinese device maker has signed Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor as its new brand ambassador.

According to reports, as a part of this new association, Ranbir Kapoor will endorse Lenovo's range of smartphones from now on, while also featuring in a host of television and online commercials for the brand in India.

But this is not the first time that Lenovo has entered into a partnership with the star. In Lenovo's earlier association with Ranbir, he was endorsing both PCs and Tablets, and will still continue endorsing Tablets in this partnership too.

"Ranbir Kapoor is a multi-talented and popular actor, who is admired across the nation. We are delighted to be associated with him, as he is an extremely versatile, endearing and stylish performer just like our range of Lenovo smartphones," said Mr. Sudhin Mathur, Director-Smartphones, Lenovo India.

"We believe that this partnership will expand our reach into the consumer space and enhance the preference for Lenovo smartphones in India."

Lenovo is currently set to launch a series of TV and online commercials featuring the actor.
