Beijing-based Lenovo tasted some serious success when it launched its A6000 smartphone in the Indian market earlier this year. Since launching its first phone a few years ago, Lenovo has become the top-selling smartphone brand in China and one among the top 5 firms in the world.
Thus far the company has managed to impress the critics and consumers alike. Its devices have been selling like hotcakes in China. Outside China, it may need to make heavy investments in marketing and advertisements.

To make its presence felt across the globe, Lenovo will hold Lenovo Tech World, its first exclusive global event in which it will demonstrate its vision of computing and emerging technology for the next five years as well as current innovations via exciting new product announcements.
"Lenovo Tech World will share Lenovo's perspective on the entire device and connected ecosystem with emphasis on human-centric design, from wearables and smartphones to tablets, PCs, servers and software and cloud services. Many of the concept products and technology demonstrations will show how the potential of future technologies will change the way people live, work and play".
The makers behind Yoga Pro 3 will host its high-profile event from May 28 in Beijing, China, the company said in a press statement. Lenovo will also discuss its forthcoming strategy for 2015 and beyond.
