Lenovo is trying to enter the television market in a sweet way by combining the Google's new Ice Cream Sandwich platform to it. This will happen at the CES 2012 starting tomorrow.
Lenovo is quite famous for the ThinkPad lineup of laptops and now the company has removed these wraps off it. It is now become the first television that is running the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich platform. The television is named Lenovo K91 Smart and it will first be launched in China and then in the other countries.
The K91 is a 55 inch TV with the 3D LED technology and it is powered by the Qualcomm dual core 8060 Snapdragon processor. The television will feature a 1 GB RAM, 2 GB SD card and 8 GB storage.
It has the voice control feature that allows it to respond to the voice commands of the users. There is also a 5 MP webcam in it that enables the video interaction with the integrated facial recongition feature for the parental and security controls.
The owners will have the cloud support enabling them to share the media among their devices like TV, smartphone, tablet or PC. They can also make use of their smartphone or tablet to control their TV.
