LG Announces Upgrade Plans for Android 4.0 ICS
Various companies are trying and rivaling among themselves to make use of the ICS, the new Android version for their smartphones and gadgets. These Optimus series smartphoes have recently used the Gingerbread OS from Android for the first time and soon they are going to make use of the latest Android release.
The company has also stated that it is evaluating if the ICS is compatible with all the features, performance and functionality of the smartphones offered. This is done so as to make use of the operating system on the maximum possible smartphones. The company has assured to bring about this operating system and its usefulness to the other older versions of the Optimus series smartphones as well.
The users of Optimus Chic and Optimus One can also expect their chance of using the ICS operating system. LG is planning to release the schedule of the upgrade and the additional models that will be using the upgrade in the month of December 2011.
