Micromax is strengthening its position in the global mobile market with the sale of 8.1 million units and holding 1.8 percent of market share in the first quarter of 2015.
According to a report by Gartner, Micromax has continued to boost its leadership in the global mobile phone market moving up from 17th position in 2011 to 10th in the Q1, 2015.
The report is complied with the global data of handsets sales to end consumers.
Apart from strengthening its position in India, Micromax has also made a successful entry in the international markets and also setting its strong foothold in markets like Russia.
The company has received a good response to its Canvas series which has seen success in India and globally with products like Canvas Spark, Canvas Knight, Canvas Doodle 4, Canvas Fire and more.
