What are the different versions of Windows 8?

How to upgrade?

There are three options to upgrade the existing device with the latest Windows OS.

If the computer is purchased in the time frame between June 2, 2012 to January 31, 2013, you can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro by paying Rs 699.

If you use Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 based computer, you can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro by paying Rs 1,999.

It is to be noted that these are the options available for those willing to download the OS from the official Microsoft website. If you need the OS DVD, you need to buy it by paying Rs 4,000 and this offer price is only till January 31, 2013, after which it will be priced at Rs 11,000.
