Nokia is struggling to cope up with the leaks of it’s yet to be released Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 handset. A report from Bloomberg suggests that company has already employed an Ethics Review Officer for investigating and finding the flaw in the misleading ad of Nokia Lumia 920 Optical Image Stabilization. Nokia earlier allowed one of the product review companies to test their new Optical Image Stabilization as the testing company raised concerns about the quality of OIS.
Reports also indicate that the new phones from Nokia are still in developmental stages as its much awaited Windows Phone 8 operating system is yet to reach the RTM Build Status. ‘The Verge’ was allowed by Nokia to have a glimpse of its Lumia 920 PureView Camera. Though they gave positive review on camera feature, they expressed doubts and concerns regarding why they were not allowed to test the much hyped Optical Image Stabilization feature. Nokia however, explained that the feature is yet not fully ready for a proper review.
Nokia is expecting to cash in on the hype surrounding its 8.7 Mega Pixel PureView Camera especially due to its specialized floating lens technology. This new technology is designed to provide improved exposure times and removal of blurs or shakes in the image even if the user hands shake while capturing the pictures. The same benefit is even applicable while video recording.
Analysts however dismissed this Nokia’s hype as something natural. They even cited what Apple did with their Siri feature.
