According to the information available at this point of time it is expected that the smartphone will be coming with a dual core ST-Ericsson NovaThor U8500 System-on-Chip.
Well, this is surprising news for experts as well as users. There is no information why would Sony Ericsson change Qualcomm chipset. The company was using the chipset for there wide range of smartphones produced in the recent past. Now, a sudden change is something which is much unexpected.
As far as the latest Chipset; NovaThor U8500 is concern, it is considered to be one among the best for the Android version 4.0. Yes, the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system will obviously be leveraged with the Chipset. Well, the Sony Ericsson LT22i will also feature qHD 540 x 960 pixels display. And, since it is enhanced with the latest chipset it is sure that the display will be of brilliant quality.
