OnePlus Planning to Expand its R&D Across Many Countries
Carl Pei, OnePlus Co-Founder, in Google+ posted his idea about starting an Research&Development centre in Europe during the second half of the 2015. Moreover, Carl Pei also shared an article, that reportedly said that, the Japanese Company Sony will slay 1,000 jobs in the smartphone department. If the rumors turns out to be true, Pei is said to offer the Sony Employee to join the OnePlus.
Pei said, "Over the past year, we've been growing fast and are constantly on the lookout for great talent. In fact, we're building a R&D centre in Europe during the latter half of this year. Perhaps it's time to stop settling and make a switch?"
OnePlus received positive feedback with its One smartphone, last year, by selling nearly 1 million handsets by the end of 2014. Initially, the One smartphone was launched in limited countries, which is followed by invite strategy on Amazon. With its success in, the Chinese company is planning to expand its R&D in more countries.

On the other hand, OnePlus came up with its own firmware named OxygenOS, and developing seperate ROM for the Chinese market called as H2OS. The company has hinted, that the more details will be announced on Feb 12th.
Moreover, OnePlus which is expanding its market, it said to launch its One smartphone in Indonesia exclusively via e-commerce website Lazada.
