Philips Bundles Apple TV With Its New TVs in India: Price Starts at Rs 29,990
Targeting the festive season sales, consumer electronic major Philips on Thursday introduced a new range of televisions that come bundled with Apple TV.
Priced at Rs. 29,990 onwards, the new range would be a unison of the features, innovations of the two brands - Philips and Apple, PE Electronics said in a statement.

The new range would thus have access to Apple's iTunes, which is world's largest entertainment library containing music, movies, TV shows. It would also have Airplay and Screen Mirroring, which would render iPhone, iPad screen on Philips LED TV.

According to the company, a viewer would have an enhanced viewing experience with LED television and Apple TV and could access surround sound, HD picture, live news, sports, radio and live streaming through YouTube.
Commenting on the development, PE Electronics Chief Executive Officer Neeraj Sethi said: "With the new range of Philips Full HD televisions, and the Apple TV partnership, we want consumers to indulge in the smart TV solution in the market, but without getting hassled about complicated set-up options."
The new range of Philips televisions with Apple TV is on sale via select electronic stores and e-commerce portals, and would be available only for a limited period, the statement said.
Set up in 2010, PE Electronics markets products of two brands - Philips in the television domain and Electrolux in the home appliances domain - in the Indian market. In fact, the new advertising image of the combo deal suggests that the price would start at Rs. 29,990.
