Rumors have been raging in the tech media world regarding the South Korean giant next best offering after Galaxy S3, the successor of Samsung Galaxy Note. The official unwrapping of the phablet is only a fortnight ahead and lot of speculations are surfacing online in the likes of Galaxy Note 2. Earlier Gizbot carried a report stating that the Galaxy Note 2 will be unveiled at the pre-IFA 2012 events to be held on August 29.

Recently, GSMArena has come up with an alleged photo of the Galaxy Note 2, revealing the front panel of the phablet.
The image aligns with the previous rumors, which suggested that the Galaxy Note 2 will be inspired by the design of the Galaxy S3, which was launched in May.
The report not only has an alleged picture of the upcoming device, but also states some of its specifications.
Going by the earlier rumors, the phablet will sport a 5.5 inch high definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The handset will be equipped with a Samsung Exynos quad core processor of 1.5GHz and will have an 8 MP camera.
At the same time, Galaxy Note 2 is expected to be launched with Android 4.0 ICS OS, although, the Jelly Bean update for the same is in the pipeline too.
