Samsung Galaxy S3 to Get Note 2 MultiView and Smart Rotation Features with 4.1.2 update
Android smartphone king, Samsung"s Galaxy S3 is poised to receive some attractive modifications inspired from the interesting features of the phablet sibling Galaxy Note 2, according to SamMobile blog's latest report.
Samsung"s MultiView feature, a prominent feature of Galaxy Note 2 will be coming soon on Galaxy S3 too. This feature allows the device to run two applications simultaneously. All these features will be installed as part of a forthcoming 4.1.2. update.
In addition, the update is rumoured to include a customizable notification panel, the continuous input keyboard, a new gallery application and also Smart Rotation.
Smart Rotation, an interesting feature which allows display to adjust to the angle of view, disables auto screen rotation and rotates the screen by determining the orientation of your face using the front camera. The progress of this latest update in unclear at the moment, though Samsung might have a JZO54K firmware build testing on the plate. The launch of the 4.1.2. Update is expected to happen sometime in late December.
SamMobile, has already started encouraging the installation of the test build by providing links and instructions to do so on your Galaxy S3, along with warning to the users of the possibility of minor bugs in the pre-release firmware. A sneak preview provided by SamMobile, of the new features is sure to excite the gadget freaks.
