After a lots of speculations, rumours, leaks for past few months, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched the much expected Galaxy S6 Edge+ at Samsung's Unpacked event. This S6 Edge variant comes with the bigger variant, RAM and battery backup compared to its predecessor S6 Edge.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, sports a 5.7" dual-curve Super AMOLED display which works into 518ppi. It is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7420 processor with 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz and 4x Cortex-A57 at 2.1GHz with Mali-T760MP8 GPU besides 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
Moving on to the storage capacity, this device comes in two variants with 32GB and 64GB of built-in memory, with no expansion options. In terms of software, this device is shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on top of latest TouchWiz UI. And, this also supports the KNOX version.
Further, this flagship flaunts a 16MP snapper with optical image stabilization, f/1.9 aperture, 5MP front shooter for amazing selfies and video conferencing.
On the connectivity, S6 Edge+ supports LTE Cat.6, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2 with ANT+, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Samsung Pay via Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST).
The South Korean company has also launched QWERTY keyboard cover as an optional accessory exclusively for the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ comes in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum color variants. Also, the pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ starts from tomorrow and will be available for sale from August 21.
