It Sounds Like Sony's Upcoming Xperia Phone Is Going To Have An Incredible Selfie Camera

It seems, the Japanese tech giant Sony, is obsessed with the selfie camera technology. The recent news to hit online, is that, Sony is reportedly working on selfie-centric smartphone, followed by Xperia C3, launched last year.

The photos of, so-called Xperia Cosmos have been leaked by noted leakster @upleaks on his social networking Twitter blog. As per the leak, this smartphone carries a model number of E530x, and it is expected to be shipped with Android Lollipop 5.0, along with 5MP front camera made of large sensor, with an LED flash.

Moving to the processor, the reports suggest that, it will be powered by a MediaTek MT6752 processor under the hood. Although the smartphone is said to have a mid-range specifications, there is an makeover, in terms of design. From the leaked picture, one can see, bezels at the bottom has been trimmed, along with buttons on the right hand side of the device.

As of now, there is no official words about the availability and the pricing of the smartphone yet from the authorities. We are expecting more information in the upcoming days.

Previously, Sony has launched another selfie centric smartphone, codenamed Xperia C3. This mid-range smartphone is packed with 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 1GB RAM.

Moving on to the storage, it is equipped with 8GB of built-in memory, with an expansion of 32GB via microSD card slot. C3 also sports a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front snapper for selfies, runs on Android 4.4 and it is powered by a 2500mAh battery.

Coming in Black, White and Mint, it is available, on both online and offline stores for the price of Rs. 18,703.
