Vodafone offers Free Wi-Fi in Khan Market, New Delhi

Following the foot steps of Airtel, which partnered with Google for a Free Zone access, Tata Docomo's free WiFi service at Hyderabad Airport, British-based telecommunication company Vodafone has introduced free Wi-Fi connectivity in New Delhi's Khan Market area for its users. This will almost cover the most frequented hotspots like ROUTE 04, SOY, Choko La, Big Chill, Pure Punjab, Chonas, Town Hall and Khan Chacha. Other operators should follow this.

To avail Vodafone's free Wi-Fi

Vodafone customers can send a text message ACT TRYWIFI to 111 to access the Wi-Fi upto 50 MB of data for 30 days.

Vodafone offers Free Wi-Fi in Khan Market, New Delhi

Other customers can collect their vouchers from the nearby outlet shops and enjoy free Wi-Fi for 20 mins. This free service is available for a month in Khan Market.

Regarding the new free Wi-Fi, Vodafone said:

Khan Market is a prominent place in the national capital where thousands of people mostly youngsters visit every day for Leisure, dine-in, business and shopping purposes. Covering the entire Khan Market, the deployment of Wi-Fi hotspot would ensure seamless connectivity across the market.

The launch is in sync with the emerging trends of data consumption especially by the younger generation for whom it is imperative to stay connected around the clock.
