Google Introduces News Lab: A Newsroom To Sharpen Journalism Skills
Google introduced a new initiative called News Lab in an attempt to provide maximum resources for journalists to empower their internet age reporting skills.
The News Lab is aimed to collaborate with journalists and entrepreneurs to help build the future of media, Steve Grove, Director of News Lab, describes in a blog post.

The blog post explains the goal of the News Lab, and how the search engine giant wants to collaborate with journalists and entrepreneurs to help the future of media. Google has created a tutorial for reporters to understand Google products.
Google offers many tools such as Maps, YouTube, Fusion Tablets, Earth and Search, which journalists can use in reporting and storytelling. Google has also created a destination where journalists around the world can access tutorials on these products.

The company will also post short written and video tutorials and case studies that highlight best practices from top newsroom globally.
