For those visitors who are tired of seeing the boring old Google Doodle, today, on October 31, 2012, the search engine giant has come up with an interactive haunted house Doodle with sound to mark Halloween.
On this Doodle, users are greeted with a haunted house numbered 13 with a bunch of closed doors, which they must open with a click. There are five doors in all, each revealing a ghostly/monster depicting of the letters in the Google logo. Once you open the doors to reveal the creatures, you can click on them again to interact.
There are other elements to click outside including a black cat, a crow and a spider and these offer an additional effect. Once, the cat jumps out and runs off the frame, the Doodle will redirect to the search results page of Happy Halloween.
Halloween is a yearly celebration in several countries across the world on October 31. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, carving pumpkins into lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories and watching horror films.
