Nexus 7 India Release: Best Online Deals Available to Buy the Google Android Jelly Bean Tablet Now
At the Google I/O conference in June 2012, the search engine giant unveiled the Asus made Nexus 7 tablet based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and claimed that the device will be shipped starting from mid-July for a price of $199 (approx. Rs 11,000). However, the first Jelly Bean based tablet could not make its way to the Indian market leaving the Android fans disappointed.
Initially, Nexus 7 was launched with 8GB and 16GB internal storage options in the international market, however, while unveiling Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 devices through the blog post, Google added one more option to the Asus made Nexus 7 tablet - 32GB and consequently, discontinued the 8GB version.
After almost six months since the launch, the much awaited Asus made Nexus tablet hit the Indian market in the first week of November through the online portals.
Speaking of the specifications, Google Nexus 7 sports a 7 inch 10 point multi-touch IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution, quad core 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS (upgradeable to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean), 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage, 1.2MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4,325 mAh battery and NFC connectivity.
With the Android 4.2 update, Nexus 7 tablet will receive improved stability and performance, security features, expandable, actionable notifications and easy personalization of the home screen.
Now, Snapdeal.com, a leading deals site in India has listed the 16GB variant of Google tablet on its site for a price of Rs 19,999. However, there are other online sites that offer the tablet at a much lesser price.

Snapdeal: Snapdeal.com, is also offering the 16GB Nexus 7 at the same price as Croma, which is at Rs 19,999. Also, there are several convenient payment options for consumers.
Homeshop18: Homeshop18.com is offering the 16GB variants of Nexus 7 tablet at Rs 17,641 and Rs 21,750 respectively.
Tradus: Tradus.com is offering the tablet has at very low price of Rs 15,950 as compared to the other e-commerce sites.
