Social networking giant Facebook is reportedly planning to close FBX -- an ad exchange that allows advertisers to buy desktop ads, media reports said on Thursday.

According to Tech Crunch, Matt Idema, vice president of monetization product marketing at Facebook confirmed to them that this is part of FacebookÂ's shift to mobile.
