Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Tab S tablets, which could easily give Apple iPads a run for their money, given the fact that Samsung's flagship tablets come with a WQXGA (2560×1600, 16:10) Super AMOLED display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes in 10.5 and 8.4-inch screen sizes, with an Octa-Core processor found under the hood. The Tab S 10.5 is the latest attempt to rival the Apple iPad Air, the most sought after tablet produced till date. The Tab S 8.4, on the other hand, should be seen as an arch rival to the iPad Mini Retail Display. On paper, the Tab S range beats the iPad without any doubt.
Let's not forget that Samsung's Galaxy Tab S tablets are primarily targeted at Apple's new age iPad models. Yes indeed, the Galaxy Tab S tablets are sophisticated, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to afford Samsung's other slates in the Galaxy range.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, for instance, has been priced at Rs 23,960, while the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 costs Rs. 30,498 in India. These new tablets can be seen rivaling Apple's iPad range (including the iPad 4 and iPad Mini Retina), which starts at Rs. 28,000.
