Today Taipei played a perfect host €" the capital city of Taiwan. Welcome Computex 2013! This year€TMs addition to Computex is critical for Taiwanese based tech vendors, as Personal computer sales plunged more than 14 per cent in the first three months of the year. Earlier today Acer updates its line-up. GizBot closely look around what Acer managed to bring for its fans worldwide.

The biggest highlight of the  concluded shows was the coming of Industry€TMs first 8-inch Windows 8 running tablet. That said, the Iconia W3 tablet has been introduced to take on 7-inch tablets powered by Android. It runs on Windows 8 complete with desktop applications which surely give an edge to Acer shifting considerable units. What about the apps? Coming to the Aspire series, the Ultrabook segment still faces multiple problems on ground such as pricing. Now Microsoft has announced Windows 8.1 thus it solves the software problem. However pricing still remains an issue. It would be difficult for Acer to sell its updated UltraBook range, as Apple is about to announce beefy Macbook Pro and Airs around WWDC 2013. The Liquid S1 announced by Acer is just a gimmick, as the device pales in comparison to Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One.
