Acer Launches Aspire P3, R7 and Iconia W3 India: All That You Need to Know

Acer seems to be in quite a rush these days. Since Computex 2013, Acer has been running in a top gear and has been giving the PC manufacturers a tough time and a hot competition. Now again the Taiwanese giant has launched their three latest devices making its rival Asus go green with envy.

The devices launched are named Aspire P3 an ultrabook with 11.6 inch display, Aspire R7 which is a 15.6-inch convertible laptop and the last one is the most awaited one called Acer Iconia W3 8.1-inch tablet.

Acer Aspire P3

The Aspire P3 is a Windows 8 convertible Ultrabook, which is 0.77-inch thick and weighs 1.3 kg and features an 11.6-inch HD display. The P3 also possess an optional Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, Intel HD graphics, and is supported by a 4GB RAM. The convertible ultrabook comes with the Dolby Audio as well. Quite new to the trend the Ultrabook sports a front and rear HD cameras. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-HDMI, USB 3.0. The battery can give a back up for 6 hours of usage. It comes with a 120GB hard drive. Acer has also offered a protective case and a Bluetooth keyboard along with the device. The device is now available at Rs 54,499 .

Acer Aspire R7

The Aspire R7 is a Windows 8 convertible laptop with an ‘Ezel' hinge and allows the users to use the device as a laptop or a tablet. The Aspire R7 features a 15.6-inch 1080p 10-point-multi-touch display. The convertible laptop runs on Intel Core i5 processor with a 6GB RAM and houses a 500GB hard drive. The laptop comes with the Intel HD graphics and Dolby Audio. The newly launched 15 inch convertible laptop also includes an HD webcam and connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, USB 3.0 and card reader. Acer has priced the Aspire R7 at Rs. 74,999.

Acer Iconia W3

The Acer Iconia W3 tablet is a Windows 8 tablet that was first seen at the Computex, 2013. Dimension-wise the tablet is 11mm thick, weighs 500 grams and features an 8.1-inch LCD display offering a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The tablet runs on Windows 8 and is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail chipset and comes with a 2-megapixel rear and front facing camera. The tablet also supports micro-HDMI and micro-USB ports. Acer is offering the W3 tablet in India as of now at Rs. 30,499 along with an optional full-sized keyboard and pre-loaded Microsoft Office.

Although, Acer will be selling all the three devices in the aforementioned price (limited time) of Rs. 54,499 for Aspire P3, Rs. 74,999 for Aspire R7 and Rs. 30,499 for Iconia W3. However they have further said that it will carry a different price starting July, 2013.
