While the third-generation iPad Mini 3 wasn't exactly a killer tablet, fans are now looking forward to greet the fourth-generation tablet with an all-new design.
If this latest leaked pictures of the so-called iPad Mini 4 are true, we'd have an easier time to believe that Apple is indeed series about its iPad range of tablets.
A new set of images and a video published by French site NowhereElse may give us a clear indication that Apple will soon launch the fourth-generation iPad Mini. The alleged images are said to of the casing for the upcoming slate.
Like the iPhone, which Apple has been releasing annually each year in September, the company typically drops a new version of the iPad every 11 to 12 months.
The iPhone continues to put Apple in the top bracket; however, the same cannot be said about the iPad range. iPad sales, meanwhile, continue to show a declining trend.
Despite the launch of the iPad Air 2, and the much-hyped iPad Mini 3, iPad sales are down significantly. This is probably due to the arrival of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus - both have bigger screen sizes. What's clear, though, is that Apple really needs another hit iPad model.
In the meanwhile, let's have a look at a handful of leaked images and a video of the iPad Mini 4 housing leak.

Firstly, the mute switch is gone, giving the iPad mini 4 a bit slimmer profile that's similar to the current-generation iPad Air 2.
On the bottom side, there is a port for a Lightning connector, along with 10 holes on each side for stereo speakers.
Reportedly, the aluminium case is slimmer than the iPad Mini 3
These leaked images match up with a lot of what we've heard to date, so it seems reasonable that this could be the final design.
Apple iPad Mini 4 is expected to get some makeover. The device should get an A9 processor, a better camera and a thinner design.
Apple has not indicate when they are planning to unravel the iPad Mini 4, but the updated iPads aren't expected to arrive until fall 2015.
