Apple iPad Pro Could Run iOS and Mac OS X: All You Need To Know

Apple remains one of the secretive companies of this generation. True to its secretive nature, the Cupertino-based giant isn't letting anyone to know about its future lineup.

While rumors have been swirling that Apple might launch updated iPads on October 16, but so far the firm stays tight-lipped on reports about their next-big announcement.

Many reports in the past few months have revealed that Apple is working a large screen tablet device, dubbed as the "iPad Pro". The massive tablet could come with a 12.9-inch screen. In fact, some believe that the forthcoming device may be a hybrid device, with built-in a detachable keyboard, just like the Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

That means Apple is testing the so-called "iPad Maxi". Given the unreliable nature of the source, it is rather difficult to agree with this report.

No doubt, Apple could be working on a "2-in-1 combo" of iOS and OS X being integrated. The report claims that the device would use elements of each OS, but it doesn't seem like a hybrid product.
