Apple's October 16 Event Press Invite Out: Expect New iPads, Mac and More

While the whole world is after the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple has once again kindled excitement among the fans by confirming the new announcements. Rumored in a huge scale, Apple will unveil new products in its iPad range at the event that is happening on October 16th. The Cupertino giant has already released the press invites and what could be more important for Apple fans that the new iPads in the market.

To talk about the bit of a background, last year, the maker of iPhone launched new iPad Air and a new iPad mini with retina display. This year the company is expected to refresh the iPad Air and iPad mini. It is also expected to introduce new Macs.

If rumors are to be believed, than the new iPad Air is sure to launch at the very day. It is said that the device will come with a slightly thinner body compared to the current iPad Air. Further, fine-tuning the design aspect of the slate, Apple is rumored to remove the mute/vibration button to make the tablet thinner. Under the hood, the new iPad will accommodate new A8 processor along with a new M8 chip, similar to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Another highly expected hardware would be the Touch ID.

On the other hand, also a new iPad Mini might make a debut on 16th this month. According tot he online reports, it would feature a similar features as the new iPad Air.
