Asus Chairman Jonney Shih took to the stage at Computex 2014 today to present the ASUS vision of providing the ultimate digital life for everyone, celebrate 25 years of innovation and design, and unveil a range of stunning new products.
This year's Computex seems really special for Asus and the company's Chairman Jonney Shih as the company has completed 25 years in the innovative technology industry. Hence, Asus came out with verious products in all the categories for its consumer-base.
The launched range include - Zenbook NX500, an ultraportable laptop; ProArt PA328Q 4K/UHD Monitor, a 32-inch ultra-high-definition monitor along with a RT-AC3200, the world's fastest tri-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi router.
Further, Asus' Chairman Shih also unveiled the next generation Fonepad 8 with built-in 3G connectivity and phone functionality, along with MeMO Pad Series which comprises of 7-inch and 8-inch tablets.
Further, the company also unveiled its most talked about hybrid device, Transformer Book V, which Asus claims is the world's first five-mode, three-in-one converged laptop, featuring a Windows and Android laptop, tablet and smartphone in one. Also with that Transformer Book T300 Chi - a premium detachable notebook with the world's thinnest 12.5-inch tablet display was also unveiled.
Lastly, Asus also showcased the new Portable AiO PT2001, a 19.5-inch touchscreen All-in-One (AiO) PC with a unique, portable and space-saving design for enhanced computing experience in the home or office.

Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi is a detachable notebook that comes with the world's thinnest 12.5-inch tablet display, Intel's next-generation and the detachable tablet is also the thinnest Intel Core-powered tablet at just 7.3mm thick.
Transformer Book T300 Chi features LTE support and is equipped with a 2560 x 1440 WQHD IPS display.
Transformer Book V is the world's first five-mode, three-in-one converged laptop that features a Windows and Android laptop and tablet as well as an Android smartphone. It comprises of a laptop with a detachable 12.5-inch screen that becomes a separate tablet and a 5-inch smartphone that docks into the tablet.
As a laptop, Transformer Book V includes a full QWERTY keyboard and touchpad, and runs both Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 KitKat. The laptop also features a next-generation Intel Core processor and a 12.5-inch HD IPS display. Further, Transformer Book V comes with ample storage of up to 1TB for apps, documents, media and more.
As a tablet, Transformer Book V also works as a standalone Windows 8.1 tablet and an Android 4.4 KitKat tablet when the phone is docked and has got built-in storage of up to 128GB.
As a phone, Transformer Book V runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and is the world's first 5-inch LTE smartphone powered by an Intel AtomTM quad-core processor. Transformer Book V comes with a 2500mah battery that provides up to 10 hours of web browsing time.
Fonepad 8 (FE380CG) is an 8-inch tablet with built-in 3G connectivity and phone functionality. With 5.06mm bezel, HD1280 x 800 IPS display and 72.2% screen-to-body ratio, the company claims its provides the largest viewing area of any 8-inch phablet on the market.
Further, Fonepad 8 features 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 1.8GHz quad-core processor, Dual front speakers and ASUS SonicMaster audio tech.
MeMO Pad 7 (ME176C) is a 7-inch, 64-bit Android tablet with dual-channel stereo speakers supported by SonicMaster technology. It has also got support for Miracast, which lets MeMO Pad 7 stream video in high-definition to a compatible TV or other display, while aptX CSR Bluetooth technology enables wireless streaming of high-quality audio to headphones and other supported devices.
Powered by an 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor (up to 1.86GHz), MeMO Pad 7 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera that both feature PixelMaster technology. Additional features include Time Rewind Mode, Selfie Mode and Always in Focus.
MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) is slightly different from MeMO Pad 7 as far as the display is concerned, as it sports a 8-inch display and comes with LTE. Further, you can find a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and best part, the Full HD IPS display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
As announced, Fonepad and MeMO Pad come with ZenUI, the all-new intuitive user interface exclusive to ASUS mobile devices. Featuring over 1000 software enhancements and a new visual design it comes with features such as What's Next and Do It Later to manage day activities
ASUS RT-AC3200 is a tri-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi router that delivers combined data speeds up to 3200Mbit/s.
Additionally, RT-AC3200 features SmartConnect, which increases Wi-Fi performance by up to 200% by automatically selecting the ideal band for network clients depending on their location and needs.
The ASUSWRT graphical user interface of RT-AC3200 provides robust network control, setup takes just 30 seconds. It also features traffic monitoring and Adaptive Quality of Service (QoS) bandwidth management, AiProtection with Trend Micro which provides total protection from external attacks as well as maintaining personal privacy.
Adaptive QoS intelligently manages network traffic to automatically give each device and application optimal bandwidth so that everyone on the network has the best possible internet experience.
The Asus ProArt PA328Q 4K/UHD monitor is a 32-inch 4K/UHD (ultra-high-definition) and features a 16:9 aspect ratio WLED display that delivers next-generation 4K/UHD visuals with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
With a pixel density of 138 pixels per inch (ppi), the PA328Q provides over 8 million pixels, four times the pixel density of standard Full HD displays and it is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors.
Built-in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) functionality lets you view content from two different sources simultaneously, with the ability to switch video between sources easily. PiP mode places the second input source windows in one corner of the display, while PbP mode spites the screen down the middle.
Zenbook NX500 is another Ultrabook unveiled by Asus that boasts a sleek aluminum unibody construction and slim form factor.
NX500 is powered by an Intel Core up to i7 quad-core processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M graphics, supported by 2GB of GDDR5 video memory for incredible speed and graphics performance. Its has also got Broadcom 3-stream 802.11ac Wi-Fi and SATA 3 RAID 0 or PCIe x4 SSD storage.
As the first ASUS notebook with a 4K/UHD display with VisualMaster technology, Zenbook NX500 delivers stunningly crisp graphics and text on its 15.6-inch 3840 x 2160 resolution IPS panel.
ASUS Portable AiO is a 19.5-inch touchscreen All-in-One (AiO) PC, weighing around 3.2kg and its thinnest at 12.3mm.
The Portable AiO has got 19.5-inch IPS 10-point touchscreen display, control of Windows 8.1, SonicMaster audio technology, 4th generation Intel Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce 820M GPU. Optional 802.11ac Wi-Fi support, two HDMI ports, gesture control, Near Field Communication (NFC), instant Windows logon without typing a password, are some other features of the new Portable AiO.
