Asus India Throngs Two All-in-One PCs With Optional Touch Screen

PC market is changing, whether to call it as transformation or a progressive change, consumer now wants to own all-in-one devices. Surely, tablets have made a dent in the PC market, but still these tech vendors are coming up with unique solutions. Asus, which is equally involved in pushing boundaries with tablets, is now making steps towards All-in-One PCs.

 

Last week, GizBot has informed you that Dell has come up with Inspiron 2330 AIO in the Indian market. Now following the footsteps of Dell, another major player, Asus, has come up with two models of All-in-One PCs. The Taiwanese giant has launched ET2013IGTI and ET2220INTI, both targets consumer segment as well as enterprise segment. Well, the demand for the desktop PCs are still high in the enterprise segment. It would likely to remain strong due to the durability factor attached to it.

 

"After entering the AIO segment in India in November 2012, we've seen good traction and user demand and are expecting the AIO market to expand further. With the launch of the Asus ET2013IGTI and ET2220INTI we are further expanding our product portfolio to offer the best feature laden AIO solutions within their respective segments. " said Mr. Vinay Shetty, Country Head - Component Business, ASUS (India).

Asus ET2220INTI

The Asus ET220INTI comes with Intel core i3 processor, a 21.5-inch LED FHD monitor , NVIDIA GT610M graphics card with 1GB VRAM, Windows 8 Pro, an enhanced sound technology - thanks to the Asus SonicMaster Technology, Wi-F0, Webcam and Microphone bundled inside. The device will be sold at a price of Rs. 65,000.

Asus ET2013IGTI

Next in the line is another All-in-One PC, which is primarily inclined towards business users. It comes with Windows 7 Professional, Intel Core i3 processor and 20-inch HD + LED screen with webcam. To make PC more secure, Asus has integrated a facial recognition feature (Asus SmartLogon), for better security of data. The Asus ET2013IGTI comes with a price tag of Rs.49, 000.

Competition check

Last month India-based vendor HCL has comes up with three new models of HCL Beanstalk All-in-One (AIO) PCs. There were three models of All-in-One PCs were launched in the market. The range starts from Rs.33, 500 and goes up to Rs. 43,000.

Some of the highlighted features include: a 21.5- inch HD LED backlit display (with anti-glare support), SATA 2.5 HDD and lastly in-built battery backup (UPS?), second generation Intel core processors, 500 GB HDD, 4GB RAM, an integrated Intel HD graphics, integrated stereo speakers, 1.3 MP webcam, four USB 2.0 slots, 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Windows7 home premium.
