Asus Launches New Convertible Laptop-Tablet Devices in India: Pricing Starts at Rs 19,999

Asus on Friday launched a series of convertible devices under its Transformer range of devices in India. The Asus Transformer Flip Book is a 15.6-inch crazy laptop with 360-degree rotating screen. Meanwhile, the Transformer T200 is a 2-in-1 ultraportable laptop having an 11.6-inch touch screen, whereas the Transformer Pad TF103 is a tablet designed to enhance productivity.

The Asus Transformer Flip Book and Transformer Pad TF103 will be made available today and retailing at Rs. 47,999 and Rs. 35,999 respectively. The Transformer T200 would be available from December onwards. All three devices are powered by Intel-powered chipsets.

Asus Transformer Flip Book (TP550)-Highlighted Specifications

The Transformer Flip Book TP550 is equipped with a 15.6-inch HD. The graphics in TP550 notebook is powered by the NVIDIA Geforce 840M coupled with 4GB of RAM. The TP550 model supports Windows 8.1 OS with the option of either Intel Core i3 or i5 processors. Other features include a healthy 1TB of storage capacity, DVD RW drive, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, VGA camera, a 2cell battery and more. It is priced upwards of Rs. 47,999.

Asus Transformer T200-Highlighted Specifications

Asus last month launched the Transformer T200 in the US, and the device goes official in India, too. The T200 tablet is a 2-in-1 (hybrid) like the previous generation model. The latest T200 has a newer Bay Trail 64-bit processor and 4GB of memory. It is running on the latest Windows 8.1 OS. Battery life on the T200 is claimed to be 8.5 hours. There are dual cameras (5MP and 2MP) as well. The Transformer T200, which has an 11.6-inch HD screen, is priced at Rs. 35,999. It comes with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.

Asus Transformer Pad TF103-Highlighted Specifications

The Transformer Pad TF103, which comes with a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display, boasts a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and draws life from an Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor.

The tablet is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 8GB GB of internal storage. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microSD card slot, and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat. It also comes with dual cameras. The makers have added a 5070mAh battery fitted inside. The device is priced at Rs. 19,990.
